Capturing MRIS nature on film!

The nocturnal activities of fauna on the Nyindamurra Nature Trail will be caught on film thanks to the

installation of two  new infra-red cameras.

A $1000 grant from Interface GoGreener has allowed the school to purchase the camouflaged infra-red

cameras complementing the school’s ongoing monitoring of fauna taking place in the nature reserve.

MRIS is one of only five WA schools to receive a grant. Year 4 teacher, Lindsay Burke said the cameras can be installed and locked in trees or on the ground.
