The Annual Margaret River Art Auction is now in its 14th year. This popular event continues to showcase diverse works from the region’s most prominent artists, high-profile interstate contributors, and emerging local artists.
Our 2019 event will be held on Saturday 21 September at the TAFE Winery Campus on Bussell Highway from 6pm. Up to 300+ guests will bid on more than 60 items of fabulous art.
Tickets are $25 and include complimentary supper catered for by local TAFE Cookery Students and a free glass of Margaret River Wine. There will be live music, raffles, and a Mark Heussenstamm ‘original’ door prize.

Yes, the rumours are true! The iconic Boranup Gallery has come on board for this year’s 13th Annual Margaret River Art Auction.
Boranup Gallery will sponsor a brand new prize, The Boranup Gallery Art Prize.
Up for grabs is an exhibition in the dedicated Emerging Artists Room, otherwise known as The Red Tail Room for a two month period. This represents a great opportunity for emerging artists to raise their profile.

In 2017 the auction raised around $25,000 for Margaret River Independent School.We would like to invite you to make an art donation.
Tickets are $20 and include a complimentary glass of wine and refreshments.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Margaret River Independent School offers a unique learning environment with a strong focus on academics and character development. The Arts play a significant role in MRIS’s learning process, with many of our students going on to become successful in this area.
Over $25,000 was raised for Margaret River Independent School through our annual Annual Margaret River Art Auction on Saturday. More than 250 enjoyed the night with some wonderful art going under the hammer. Thanks to all our fabulous artists, parents,and sponsors, and our Auctioneer Extraordinaire – Neil Earl!

AN estimated $30,000 was raised at the eighth annual Margaret River Art Auction on Saturday at the Cultural Centre, a very successful fundraiser for the Margaret River Independent School.
Rhonda Dornan was presented with the Kent Le Grand Memorial
Award, by the late Mr Le Grand’s son Barnabas who came down from Perth for the event.
The organisers thank the artists and sponsors for all their generosity to the school community and help to make the annual event go off so well.
