A special ceremony was held at MRIS on Friday to honour those instrumental in the school library’s refurbishment project.
MRIS parents, Claudia Gant, Janine Harrold, and grandparent Penny Lloyd have worked hard over recent years to transform the interior of the building into an inviting and functional space.
The makeover included new shelving, carpet, furniture, curtains, restocking of books and an update of the cataloguing system.
Originally a Catholic Church, the building was relocated to MRIS in 1983.
