Creating their own Digging Sticks with MRIS Wardandi Mentor, Josh Whiteland was a highlight for the Yr 3 students this week. Using peeled-back Wannang (Peppy) branches and Balga (Grass Tree) resin, the group fashioned a handle which was then decorated with emu feathers. The children will get to keep the sticks upon graduation from the Tour Guiding Program.
