OPEN DAY – Saturday, September 16, 2023 10am-2pm at MRIS
A French influenced-country is always the focus for Margaret River Independent School’s bi-annual Open Day held on the school grounds.
This year, in recognition of its French Language Program, the school will hold a ‘Celebrons La Francophonie‘ to celebrate the traditions and culture of France.
CURRICULUM
Every second year, a French-influenced country is picked to celebrate the students’ French studies. Each class focuses on different aspects of the country from politics and agriculture through to traditional costume, and geography.
ACTIVITIES
Students and teachers dress in colourful attire and host free craft activities in each classroom as part of the celebrations.
