Noongar knowledge and storytelling to deliver traditional stories about fire (kaarla) in an exciting way was the focus of a performance by Kaarla Kaatijin Theatre Company at MRIS this week. Principal Wendy Roediger said students learnt about the importance of fire and what it means to be a strong, centred individual learning about the world.
