Students, staff and parents were treated to a musical feast this week when the annual Mid-Year Matinee was staged with both school bands showcasing their repertoire. Manfred said band members are learning to interact in a musical and socially cooperative way and are developing their skills on their respective instruments. “Playing music in an ensemble requires understanding how songs are constructed and how they can be interpreted with the skill levels and resources available.” he said. “Thank you to all parents who are supporting our music program and also reliably ferry their children to the early morning rehearsals”
Special thanks to the Coleman family for donating drum sticks.
