Students ‘went bush’ on Thursday during MRIS’s
annual Year 1 Bush School.
Children enjoyed making damper and Worry Dolls, as well as weaving, a tracking activity and a fire-making session all supported with parent help.
Teacher, Skye Robertson said students talked about the Aboriginal use of fire, as well as good fire and bad fire.
“Thanks to all the parents who assisted on the day…. Bush School is only possible due to our wonderful
parent help,” said Skye
