MRIS works to save critically endangered frogs 1Margaret River Independent School’s Year 6 students have designed and created a t-shirt to raise awareness and help save Western Australia’s most endangered frog species, the tiny White Bellied Frog.

Endemic to the Margaret River area, the frog lives in an area near Margaret River in swampy depressions adjoining creeks. Threats from altered ecology have made this a critically endangered species of south-western Australia.

All profits from the sale of the t-shirts will go to purchasing plants for regeneration of the White Bellied Frog’s habitat.

T-shirts are now available to order and will be processed once there is an order of 10 or more t-shirts, to save on delivery costs. All purchases will be available for collection at Margaret River Independent School reception during office hours.

Thank you for your support.
