A French influenced-country is always the focus for Margaret River Independent School’s bi-annual Open Day held on the school grounds.
This year, in recognition of its French Language Program, the school will hold a ‘Celebrons La Francophonie’ to celebrate the traditions and culture of France.
Every second year, a French-influenced country is picked to celebrate the students’ French studies. Each class focuses on different aspects of the country from politics and agriculture through to traditional costume, and geography.
ACTIVITIES: Students and teachers dress in colourful attire and host free craft activities in each classroom as part of the celebrations.
