MRIS’s Year 4/5 class has recommenced pitfall trapping research after the recent renewal of the school’s trapping licence.
Students are looking at the best practice for trapping to further biodiversity in surrounding bush.
This week, work was dedicated to cleaning and
maintaining the traps.
In the coming weeks, students will compare two forested areas for trapping purposes and determine the best way to collect data.
