The 2014 French Open Day was a great success with the whole school community coming together to organise a wonderful event.
Up to 200 people passed through the Arc De Triomphe, over 150 lunches were sold, and plenty of ice-cream was consumed.
Year 2 MRIS student, Charlie Murray won a trip home in the authentic French automobile, the Deux Chevaux.
“We did turn a profit on the day but the whole idea of holding the Open Day is to showcase our great school to the larger community,” Principal, Wendy Roediger said. “Thanks to all our fabulous students, parents, grandparents and friends for helping out!”
