Junior Custodians of Redgate Beach for over 8 years now, MRIS Yr 4 students took part in Nature Conservation Margaret River’s “Adopt A Spot” program on Tuesday on their allocated iconic beach.
Students have been involved in planting nearly 400
native species to rejuvenate Redgate sand dunes degraded by human traffic.
Year 4 teacher, Tamara Broadbent said students work regularly on the area to establish native plants, clear rubbish, weed out invasive plants and rebuild dune areas.
