‘The Mermaid Restaurant’ had its Grand Opening last week with Principal, Wendy Roediger doing the official ribbon cutting.
Kindergarten teacher, Helen Ewing said it was wonderful to finally celebrate the occasion after a lot of preparation. “The children have spent lots of time and effort bringing their great ideas to fruition,” she said.
The class made their own menus, decided what meals they wanted to serve, decorated the restaurant and even set-up an alfresco area.
Some wonderful dishes including a watermelon sandwich were on offer. Drop in and have a look at this marvellous creation and stop for a bite to eat!!
