Remembrance Day was marked at MRIS on  Friday, November 11 with a minute’s silence, traditional lowering of the flag to half-mast, as well as readings by students and the singing of the national anthem.

Students created two wreaths decorated with hand-made poppies

Remembrance Day marks the time when the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare at  11am on November 11, 1918.
