Showtime: A talented troupe of MRIS students will showcase its performance skills at the City of Bunbury’s 2016 Eisteddfod in coming weeks.
In a first for the school, MRIS Dance and Drama teacher Sara Walker entered a group of dancers and actors in the spectacular annual production.
“These dedicated Yr 6 students have reached a high technique level and artistic production,” Sara said. They will perform a drama piece of individual monologues on May 27 and an acrobatic trio dance on June 13.
Principal, Wendy Roediger said it was exciting to have such a wonderful opportunity available to MRIS and thanked Sara for her dedication to the school’s drama and dance programme.
