Our single-stream MRIS Year 3 class made themselves at home in their new classroom on Wednesday making their base in the original school building, The Forest Grove Hall.
On-site in 1982, the Hall became Nyindamurra Family School’s first classroom with teacher, Fran Covell at the helm as its first teacher. Fran was followed in the second year by our current principal, Wendy Roediger.
Year 3 teacher, Ashley Burke said the classroom space was delightful and the children were settling in well.
“The children are really happy with the verandah and
outside space. Today we spent some free time building tepees in the garden area.” she said
