The Margaret River Independent School will use its traditional open day to raise funds for people in need next week.
The school would host a special high tea event on Thursday to benefit the Habitat for Humanity charity, which helps low income families looking for accommodation.
Open day committee member Melissa White said parents would be able to tour the school and for a gold coin donation enjoy a variety of teas, cakes and sandwiches.
“We will have old-fashioned tea cups out so people can enjoy the morning,” she said.
