MRIS will host Paddy Beels, OBE recipient for Services to Education, and retired head teacher of acclaimed Wingate Nursery School in Durham, England.
Association of Independent Schools WA’s Ron Gorman said MRIS had been selected amongst a number of WA schools for Paddy Beels to visit.
“MRIS is doing great work and Paddy has a particular interest in nature pedagogy, so she is very keen to see the Nyindamurra Nature Trail.” She also specialises in respect for children, relationships and play—an underlying MRIS foundation.
Mr Gorman said it was
exciting to have a world-class educator of Paddy’s calibre in WA. “She is an international rock star of education and is really
excited to see MRIS.”
Ms Beels will tour MRIS today along with a group of AISWA representatives
