Being inspired by nature, particularly birds was a focus of Year 2 Bush School recently. Students rotated through a number of workshops which included bird-spotting with local Bird Expert, Christine Wilder and a fascinating workshop with parent, Tara from Eagles Heritage. Other workshops conducted by parents included creating bird nests, making damper and shelter-building, all activities designed to inspire students to actively engage in the learning adventure, whilst also having the opportunity to be outside the traditional classroom for the entire day. A delicious morning tea and lunch was prepared by parents, Jo, Kim and Claire which was enjoyed by everyone.
