MRIS observed National Sorry Day today coming together to share the steps towards healing for the Stolen Generations, their families and communities. A new flagpole was installed at the school specifically to fly the Australian Indigenous Flag which was raised during the service. A minutes silence was observed. Year Five students, Lowana O’Grady, Emma Heyink and Willow Hardy conducted service.
