Celebrating our multi-cultural society is the underpinning theme of the newly-erected ‘Welcome Signpost’ at MRIS.
Designed and built by MRIS grandparent and artist, Mark Heussenstamm, the multi-purpose, interchangeable signpost points to all the countries from which school families originate. It is designed to display national and gratitude flags, as well as banners. The project was made possible through a $2000 Variety Club of WA grant.
